Gytis Bernardas Padegimas – Lietuvos Respublikos Vyriausybės kultūros ir meno premija ir Ordinu už nuopelnus Lietuvai Karininko kryžiumi apdovanotas teatro režisierius, Lietuvoje, užsienyje ir televizijoje yra sukūręs virš 120 spektaklių, tarp kurių – 40 pagal lietuvišką dramaturgiją. Gyčio Padegimo asmenyje puikiai dera teatro praktikas (režisierius, aktorius, vadovas), teoretikas, pedagogas, organizatorius, visuomenės veikėjas. 

Tai vienas vakarietiškiausių Lietuvos režisierių, pirmasis pradėjęs statyti spektaklius užsienio teatruose, bendradarbiauti su užsienio menininkais, beatodairiškai įsijungęs į Lietuvos išlaisvinimo judėjimą, visą laiką nuosekliai dirbęs su lietuvių autoriais.

Kūrėją kalbins ir vakarą moderuos menininkas, „44“ meno vadovas Arnis Aleinikovas.

Renginys nemokamas be išankstinės registracijos.

KTU Theatre Studio “44” invites you to the series “VOX ARTIFICUM” (from Latin, “The Voice of the Artist(s)”), dedicated to exploring invisible creative processes, the everyday lives of artists, their searches and discoveries, and an overview of current trends.

Gytis Bernardas Padegimas is a theatre director awarded the Culture and Arts Prize of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania and the Officer’s Cross of the Order “For Merits to Lithuania.” He has created more than 120 theatre productions in Lithuania, abroad, and for television, including 40 based on Lithuanian dramaturgy. In Padegimas, the roles of theatre practitioner (director, actor, and leader), theorist, educator, organiser, and public figure are harmoniously combined.

He is considered one of the most Western-oriented directors in Lithuania, the first to stage productions in foreign theatres, to collaborate with international artists, to engage uncompromisingly in the Lithuanian liberation movement, and to consistently work with Lithuanian authors throughout his career.

The evening will be hosted and moderated by artist and “44” artistic director Arnis Aleinikovas.

Admission is free, with no prior registration required.
